Description

VALUES & CULTURE:

Deeside Cereals is proudly owned by the Weetabix Food Company. Acquired in December 2023.

Our Mission - We want to nourish the nation with better breakfasts that help them to live better lives, so we’ve made it our mission to delight consumers with great tasting, nutritious breakfasts produced with passion and excellence.

These are the behaviours that can fast-track us to where we want to be. They focus in on what makes us great AND how we can win more in the future. We’re moving away from values as values implies you have to adopt a particular value set when you walk through our door, but we want you to embrace & be proud of your own values. We just want to set a clear framework for the way we work together, our ‘ways of working’ so we’re setting ourselves up to win together.

• Right Thing, Right Way

We strive for 100% safety in every sense - for our people, partners, products & the plant. Our consumers & customers are at the heart of our choices, and we get up stream to fix things properly, rather than short lived solutions.

• We Own It

We treat the business as if it were our own. We make honest & constructive feedback part of the day to day and own the difficult conversations. We take calculated risks, own the outcome and go again if we need to.

• Win Together

We recognise & respect the power of diversity in our team. Collaborating across sites & teams with effective, lasting relationships. We work hard together but have fun along the way and celebrate whatever the score.

• Great Work at Pace

We prioritise what makes the difference and do it brilliantly as we have high standards. When we pick up the pace on the big stuff we get their faster. We do what we say we’re going to do , whatever bump in the road we face.

• Always Improving

We’re agile & innovative to find simpler and better ways of doing things. We embrace & experiment with changes to build a better Weetabix. We’re curious about how organisations may do things better & take action on what we learn
